“I’m not just here to lead—I’m here to make a lasting impact,” reflects Seanne N. Murray, Esq., her voice steady with purpose. As she navigates her role at Shoreline Harley-Davidson, the only Black female General Manager of a Harley-Davidson dealership in the United States, Seanne isn’t merely continuing a legacy—she’s honoring the vision her parents established.
Seanne’s journey is a tapestry woven with resilience, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to justice. “I carry the legacy of my parents,” she shares, speaking of the family business that has been a cornerstone of the community for decades. Shoreline Harley-Davidson isn’t just a dealership; it’s a symbol of tradition and community, established by her parents’ hard work and vision. “This place was built on my parents' commitment to creating something lasting. My role is to ensure it continues to thrive,” she asserts.
But Seanne’s influence extends far beyond the dealership’s walls. With the creation of Attain 9 Inc., she is redefining what it means to lead in the 21st century. “I wanted to build something that could ignite real change,” she says. Attain 9 isn’t just a company; it’s the first media enterprise of its kind, blending media innovation with investment strategies to empower individuals and uplift communities on a global scale. “Media has the power to transform society,” she explains. “But it must be wielded with purpose.” Though still in development, Attain 9’s mission and unique approach position it as a pioneering force in the industry.
Her foray into media has been nothing short of groundbreaking. Consider ‘Chicago 1919,’ the powerful film she created and co-wrote, which brings to life a pivotal moment in American history. “We’re telling a story that needs to be told,” she says, her passion palpable. The film has drawn the support of industry luminaries like Rosanna Arquette and Keith David, a testament to Seanne’s ability to attract talent who share her vision for impactful storytelling.
One of Seanne’s other projects, ‘The Top Floor,’ further exemplifies her innovative spirit. “It’s not just about business—it’s about creating leaders,” she says of the unscripted series where athletes, entertainers, and industry giants coach emerging leaders. “We’re not just watching people succeed; we’re witnessing their growth and transformation.”
Behind her media and business success is a solid foundation laid during her time on Wall Street. “Finance taught me how to navigate the complex,” she notes. This experience, coupled with her work in the music industry—where she collaborated with top artists and industry moguls, even earning a gold record—has fortified her multifaceted approach to leadership. “Every industry has its challenges, but those challenges are what shape you,” she adds.
Seanne’s academic journey began at Howard University, where she earned her undergraduate degree. “Howard was pivotal in my development as a Black woman,” she reflects, “especially after Westport, where I was often considered unusual.” Building on that foundation, she pursued her legal education at Temple University School of Law. “Law is about understanding the rules, but leadership is about knowing when to rewrite them,” she says with a knowing smile.
Over the years, Seanne has been named by others as the voice for good—a recognition she takes to heart. “I take that seriously,” she acknowledges. “It’s a responsibility to ensure that everything I do contributes positively to the world.”
In every aspect of her work, Seanne N. Murray is driven by a singular vision: to create a better world. “I’m not just a leader—I’m driving a movement,” she declares. As she continues to push boundaries and break barriers, one thing is clear: Seanne isn’t just setting the standard for what it means to be a mogul in the 21st century—she’s rewriting the playbook, one purposeful step at a time.
Join Seanne in her mission to make a lasting impact. Whether through supporting Attain 9, engaging with her media projects, or connecting with the vision she carries forward, there’s a place for you in this movement. Be a part of the change.
